The first resume is the resume I enhanced with AI. The specific prompt that I asked it was to take this resume from my first semester and fix the grammar and make it more cohesive after fixing the multiple errors that the AI made, I plugged it into word and turned it into a PDF. Even with this small help, it took twenty minutes to fix the formatting errors and stop the AI from hallucinating. The bot made the Resume nicer, but overall failed to satisfy me and needed human touches to seem somewhat coherent. This alone is enough to dissuade me from using AI in an academic setting, and it’s a downright shame that the university is requiring the use of AI in their studies.
